From an early age, he studied music at the conservatoire, and soon after devoted himself to horseback riding, painting, and theater. Trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in Madrid, Borja has worked with some of Spain’s most renowned theater directors and even founded his own theater company.
Known for his versatility and ability to embody complex characters, he has graced both national and international stages. His talent was recognized in Beijing, where he received the Best New Actor award from The Central Academy of Drama. Borja has also worked with major production houses such as the National Drama Center, the Spanish Theatre, and the National Classical Theatre Company. Additionally, he has performed at prestigious festivals like GREC, FRINGE, and the Almagro International Classical Theatre Festival. His work is highly regarded by his peers, earning him two nominations for Best Actor at the Actors’ Union Awards.
In the world of screens, he has appeared in films such as Salvajes by Alex Galán—one of the most-watched documentaries of recent years—Animales sin collar by J. Linares, and hit series like Isabel, Las chicas del cable, Cristo y Rey, and No traces. Currently, he stars in Breathless, one of Netflix’s latest major successes.
